Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 box rice Chex cereal
1 - 12 ounce bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chunky peanut butter
1 stick butter or margarine
1 pound powdered sugar (usually need a little more)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. I use a large glass measuring cup and melt them in the microwave. Put the rice Chex in a large pan or bowl and pour the heated mixture over them. You need to now coat them with powdered sugar. I get another bowl with powdered sugar in it and put a few in at a time, and with my hands, seeing that all are separated and coated. It is more work than putting them in a paper bag and shaking, but worth the effort. After coating with the sugar, I put them in a wire strainer and shake some of the powdered sugar off. Seems to do better that way.

My family calls this "dirty trash". It is a favorite of my granddaughter, April Windham, and my step granddaughter, Bitsy.
