Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 stick butter or margarine
1 tablespoon seasoned salt
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3 cups corn Chex cereal
3 cups rice Chex cereal
3 cups wheat Chex cereal
½ cup to 1 cup mixed nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in shallow pan. Stir in seasoned salt, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce. Add cereal and nuts. Mix until all pieces are coated.

Cook at 250º for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes to help get it all coated. When you stir, be sure to stir from the bottom and coat all. Put in paper sack and shake to get most of the butter out.

Note: When I make a lot of this- use all three boxes of cereal, it will make four batches of 8 cups each. I use the same amount of ingredients for the 8 cups as for the nine.

This stays fresh for about a month in Ziploc bags or tins.

My family call this "Trash". It is Jill's (daughter) favorite snack.

I got the recipe off of a cereal box in the 1950s. It was their original recipe with a few adjustments I've made over the years.
