In medium pot (Grandma uses 9 inch high, 5 inch deep) fill 3/4 of the way with water.

Add a good handful of chopped "celery leaves", a small chopped onion, small can redpack petite diced tomatoes, one clove chopped garlic, oregano (at least two shakes but can be more), salt and pepper to taste.

Bring to a boil, lower and simmer an hour. Add large can cannelloni beans, simmer about 20 minutes.

Boil pasta (little shells, elbows) then add to mixture.
