2 tbsp. dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
4 tbsp. fresh dill weed or 2 tsp. dry dill weed
2 tbsp. butter (softened)
2 cups cottage cheese
4 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
41/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Stir yeast into warm water and set aside.
Mix dill with butter.
Combine cottage cheese, brown sugar, onion, salt, baking soda, slightly beaten eggs, and flour.
Add yeast and butter/ dill mixture; work into dough knead for about 5 minutes ( dough will be sticky). Let dough rest 30 minutes.
Shape into two loaves and let rise in pans about 15 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes until golden.
Thump the bottom of the pan-it will sound hollow when bread is done.
