2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried leaf oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme

This is by far the only base dry rub I ever use, and once you have tried it, you will never buy another dry rub again. Guaranteed!
This rub is so versatile, that you can use it in marinades, pre-cooking, post-cooking, fish, hamburgers, steaks, chicken, ribs, egg, sauces and even olive oil covered baked potatoes. OMG...thats all I can say. I have even been known to lay a track down on my toast!
I don't just double this recipe because I use so much of it, I mutilply it by 10x's. Thats how much we use.Spread this as liberally as you like. Enjoy
