2 cups flour
½ cup sugar
1 Tablespoon baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
Mix all dry ingredients together.

In separate bowl, mix together:
1 cup milk
¼ cup oil
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 500. If using stoneware, heat up stone muffin pan.
Add wet mixture to the dry mixture. Stir for 20 seconds, only 20 seconds, just enough to mix together. Do not overmix.
Pour into greased muffin pan, 2/3 full each cup.
Turn heat down to 400 and bake for 20 minutes.

The change of heat makes the peaks on the muffins. Do not forget to turn it down.
