1 1/2 c. chicken stock
1 c. cooked shredded chicken meat
3/4 c. green peas
1/3 c. diced celery
1/3 c. diced carrots
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 T. cornstarch
1/4 c. milk
1 double crust 9" pastry

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, combine stock, chicken, peas, celery and carrots. Bring to a boil.
Mix cornstarch with milk and stir into stock mixture. Cook, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 325º,
Stir cheese into filling mixture and pour into 9" pie crust. Top with second crust and seal edges. Cut slits in top of crust.
Place on a cookie sheet or jelly roll pan.
Bake for 35-40 minutes and top is golden brown.
