1 c. margarine or butter
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour

Filling:
8 oz. mushrooms, sliced and sautéed with 1/2 c. minced onion
2 T. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of white pepper
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. flour
1/2 c. light cream
1 T. sherry or dry vermouth

Directions:
Directions:
Soften and blend margarine, cream cheese and salt. Combine with flour and roll out as for any pie dough.

Filling:
Saute mushrooms and onion with butter, salt, pepper and flour. Simmer 5 minutes. Add light cream and simmer 2 minutes. Add sherry. Cool spread on pastry, bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350º.

These can either be in tiny tart shapes or made in one large rectangle and cut before baking..
