300g fresh cranberries
350ml cider vinegar
350g onions, diced
750g apples, peeled, cored and chopped into small chunks
80g currants
400g raw cane sugar
250g muscovado sugar
30g salt
20g garlic chopped very small
1 small red chilli finely chopped
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground allspice

Directions:
Directions:
* Put the cranberries into a blender and give them a quick blast – or you can use a stick blender.
* Put the vinegar and onions in to a pan and heat for a couple of minutes to soften the onion, then add the apples and the cranberries and stir whilst gently boiling.
* Add the currants and mix well. Then add the raw cane sugar, the salt, ginger, chilli and spices and give another good stir.
* Add the muscovado sugar and stir until all the sugar has dissolved. Boil for 30 – 40 minutes or until the desired consistency has been reached.
* Pour into sterlized jars.
