3/4 cup rolled oats, ground in the food processor (or just use quick oats)
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 tbs raisins, chopped coarsely
2 tbs walnuts, finely chopped (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat the peanut butter and honey for 15 seconds in the microwave in a glass bowl or measuring cup to soften. Mix in the oats, vanilla, raisins and walnuts in a large bowl until fully combined. (It will be dense and may seem sticky.)

2. Drop by the teaspoon onto either a plate or a baking sheet and place into the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. After they are firm, store in a jar or other airtight container in the fridge - if they last that long!

This recipe recently circulated around on Facebook. I made it with my two year old grandson who not only loved eating them but also WEARING them. He's not the tidiest of cooks but we had fun (and my daughter had to clean up the kitchen).
