1 pound hamburger
1 chopped onion (optional)
1 can (1 pound size) tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
6 or 8 strips of green or red pepper (optional)
1/2 package of 8 ounce egg noodles
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger, add chopped onions and sauté. Add tomatoes, salt, mushroom soup and peppers. While simmering, cook egg noodles for about 6 minutes. Drain noodles and add to beef mixture. Simmer about 30 minutes and stir in 1/2 cup of cheese. Simmer 30 more minutes and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
