1 cup flour
1/2 cup soft butter
1/4 cup Confectioners' Sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice (real lemons)
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest

LEMON GLAZE:
2 cups Confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons soft butter
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Milk as needed

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour, soft butter and confectioners' sugar thoroughly. Press evenly into a buttered 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350º for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

Beat remaining ingredients together until light and fluffy. Pour over the crust, bake an additional 25 to 30 minutes or until no imprint remains when lightly touched. Cool. Pour over the lemon glaze.

These are really good, and no matter where I take them, people like them. I would put a piece of wax paper on the bottom of the serving dish to help keep them from sticking.
