1/4 C butter or margarine
1/2 C sugar
1 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 C milk
2 C blackberries, fresh or frozen
3/4 C apple or raspberry juice

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar. Combine flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir just until moistened. Pour into a greased 8x8-inch baking pan. Place blackberries over batter. Pour juice over all. Bake at 350º for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
