2 cup Granulated Sugar
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 cup Buttermilk
3/4 cup Oleo
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 cup Chopped Pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In a 2 1/2 quart microwave bowl, place the sugar, soda, buttermilk, and oleo. Cover with plastic wrap and make several small slits in the top. Cook for 15 minutes. Stirring every 5 minutes and turning bowl if you don't have a carrousel. Return to oven for 2 minutes more. Add vanilla. Beat with mixer until soft peaks. Stir in pecans. Spread in a 12x 7 inch buttered dish and cut in squares.
