3 Egg Whites at room temperature
Pinch of Salt
1 tsp. Cream of Tartar
4 or 5 tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Lemon Flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites slightly, add pinch of salt and Cream of Tartar. Beat until whites stand in real stiff peaks. Add the sugar gradually and the lemon flavoring and continue beating. After filling has cooled good and poured into baked pie shell, top with the meringue and brown as desired in a 300 degree oven. Seal the edges with the meringue all the way around the pie. Pull up in peaks over the top.
