1 cup Gold Medal Self- rising flour
1/2 cup of buttermilk
1/4 cup of Crisco oil

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 450º. Gently mix all ingredients together, mixing well but don't overwork the dough. Pinch up a moderate amount and roll between hands, forming a ball. Flatten into a bisquit shape and put in a round cake pan. Lay each bisquit so that they are touching.
Dough should be greasy enough to work with and not stick to hands.

Bake until bisquits have risen and turned a golden brown.
