1- 9 inch deep dish pie crust
3eggs, beaten
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Pre - heat oven to 400º F. Brush a little beaten egg on the pie crust and bake it for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and reduce heat to 375º.

Saute the onion in the butter for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown, then spread onto the bottom of cooked pie crust. Mix the cream, grated cheese, and seasoning in with the remaining beaten eggs and pour this mixture into the pie crust.

Bake for 30 minutes until the crust is nicely browned and the filling firmly set.
