3 c seedless risins
3 c sultna raisins
1/2 c chopped cherries
1/2 c chopped citron peel
1/4 c chopped lemon peel
1/4 c chopped orange peel
1 c chopped walnuts
1/2 c molasses
6 eggs
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp mace
1 c shortening
1 c brown sugar

Directions:
Line 2 loaf pans with brown paper. Grease the paper. Prepare fruit and nuts, dist with 1/4 c flour. Stir remaining ingredients, flour, salt, soda and spices together. Cream shortening and brown sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, add molasses and mix well. Blend in dry ingredients; fold in fruit and nuts. Bake 2 hours at 350º F or until done.
