1 med head cabbage, quartered
4 small onions
4 med potatoes
4 large carrots
1 clove garlic, minced
1 lb. smoked sausage
1 bay leaf
1 c. water or beef bouillon
1 tbsp. caraway seeds
1 tbsp. chopped parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Cut smoked sausage into 8 equal parts.
Arrange with cabbage and other vegetables in a heavy cooking pan.
Sprinkle evenly with minced garlic clove and caraway seeds; add bay leaf.
Pour water or bouillon over. Cover tightly and simmer over low heat for about 45 minutes, or until carrots are tender.
Remove bay leaf.
Arrange sausage and vegetables on a platter for serving, sprinkle parsley over potatoes and carrots.
