3 28oz. cans pork and beans (drained a little)
1 pkg. bacon
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 chopped onion
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients except bacon into a large bowl. Cut bacon into fourths and stir raw into the pork and beans mixture. Reserve some bacon pieces for the top. Transfer to a large greased casserole dish and top with reserved bacon pieces. Bake uncovered in a slow oven at 250 degrees for 4 or 5 hours at least.

Everyone loves these baked beans. The bacon flavor and consistency from baking all day are what make these beans so special. They smell so good in the oven too. They were Uncle Bob's favorite.
