2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup shortening or butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
2/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together
beat egg whites
Cream shortening until light and fluffy
Mix in sugar with shortening, add flour mix and milk alternately
add egg yolks and vanilla then add egg whites

350º for 25 min
