2 small onions
1/2 tsp. grated gingerroot
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. cayenne
2 lbs lamb shoulder, cut in 2 -inch cubes
3 cloves garlic, crushed
3 T. oil
Pinch of ground cloves
salt to taste
2 T. water
Juice of 1/2 lime

Directions:
Directions:
Grate 1 onion and mix with the ginger, cumin, and cayenne. Add to meat and stir to mix. Slice 1 onion. Saute light brown with garlic in oil. Add cloves and fry 2 minutes. Add spiced meat and salt. Cover, and slow fry 30 minutes. Sprinkle on water, frying uncovered until meat is tender, water evaporated. 5 minutes before serving, add lime juice.
