3 cups boiled, mashed sweet potatoes (can also used 1 large can, drained)
1 cup brown sugar
2 beaten eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

TOPPING:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1/2 cup plain or self-rising flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sweet potatoes, brown sugar, beaten eggs, vanilla and butter in bowl. Pour into buttered 9" x 9" pan. Cook for 30 minutes at 350º.

Take out of oven, mix brown sugar, melted butter, pecans and flour together. Sprinkle mixture on top of sweet potatoes. Return to oven and continue baking at 350º for an additional 25 minutes.

I would fix this for Thanksgiving and Christmas. You don't have to add the nuts, but it is better with them.
