16 c sliced green tomatoes
8 c sliced onions
3 c vinegar
4 c sugar
1/2 c pickling spice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with pickling salt to sit overnight.
Drain and put in a large pot. Add vinegar, sugar and pickling spice (in a bag). Cook until soft and thickened. Makes 6 jars.
