1 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 c. water
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in water until smooth; add strawberries. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened. Serve with pancakes. Dust with powdered sugar (if desired).
