1 pound pork sausage
4 cups grated cheese
6 eggs
3 cups milk
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies (optional)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage completely, chopping it as it cooks. Drain on paper towels. Place bread slices in bottom of 9" x 13" baking dish. Arrange cooked sausage over bread and top with cheese. Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper together and pour over sausage layer saturating all the bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350º, covered for 1 and 1/2 hours. Cut into squares and serve.
