4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp soda
1 1/2 cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tsp salt
1 cup shortening
1 cup nuts
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups raisins

Boil raisins with 1 cup of water for 5 minutes. Mix all ingredients together. Drop on cookie sheet and bake.
