2 c. Raisins
1 c. Cold Water
1 c. Shortening
2 c. White Sugar
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 Eggs
4 c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Boil Raisins in water for 5 minutes and let cool.

Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs, raisins and raisin juice.

Add dry ingredients and vanilla.

Bake at 400ºF for 10-12 minutes.
