3 large (or 3-4 medium) cucumbers
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup white sugar
2 T. water
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
1/2 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. chopped sweet onion or about half onion sliced, if preferred
1 T. lemon Juice
1 T. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Peel cucumbers; slice wafer then into bowl.
Sprinkle with salt; let stand 30 minutes.
Gently squeeze cucumbers with paper towel to release moisture.
Return to bowl.

In a medium size bowl, mix all other ingredients.
Pour over cucumbers, mix well, but gently.
Cover; refrigerate one hour before serving.
