1 pkg dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water (105 - 115 deg F.)
1 cup cottage cheese
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. minced onion
1 tbsp. butter, softened
2 tsp dill seed
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 egg, beaten
2 1/4 - 2 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water. Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm. Combine sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda and egg in a bowl with cottage cheese and yeast mixture. Add flour to form a stiff dough. Cover with a damp towel and let rise until double in bulk. Stir dough down. Place dough in well greased casserole (1 1/2 qt) or loaf pan and cover with damp towel. Let rise 1 hour or until double in bulk. Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
