1 can of Peas
salt & pepper
1 t sugar
1/2 c Milk
1 T butter
3/4 C flour
1/8 t baking powder
pinch salt
1 egg
1/4 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Open can of peas, add pepper, 1 t sugar, 1/2 c milk and 1 T butter and heat on medium.

Dumplings: add 3/4 C flour, 1/8 t baking powder and pinch of salt in a small bowl. Beat one egg and add 1/4 C milk to egg. Add egg and milk to flour mixture and stir.

Drop dumplings by teaspoon when peas start to boil. Then simmer.

Note: If using fresh peas add salt and water to the top portion.
