Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry Recipe

Marinade:
1/3 C Soy Sauce
2 T Brown Sugar
1/2 t Ginger
1/2 C Water

1 lb boneless round steak or 1 lb chuck steaks, cut into 3 inch strip
2 T sesame oil, divided
2 Minced Garlic cloves

4 C Broccoli Florets
1 small onions, cut into wedges
1 Red Pepper or Green Pepper s1/2 in slices

Sauce
1/3 C soy sauce
2 T brown sugar
1/8 t crushed red pepper
1/2 t ground ginger
1 T Cornstarch
1/2 C Water
hot cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger and 1/2 C water until smooth. Add beef and marinate 1/2 hour. Discard marinade.

In a large skillet or Wok over medium heat, stir fry beef and onions in 1 T sesame oil and 2 minced garlic cloves until beef reaches desired doneness: remove & keep warm.

Stir fry broccoli and Peppers in remaining oil for 4 to 5 minutes. Return beef to pan.

Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger & red peppers, 1 T cornstarch, 1/2 C water till smooth. Add to pan and cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Serve over rice
