1 1/2 c margarine
2 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 c rolled oats
1 c chocolate chips
1 c white chocolate chips
1 c milk chocolate chips

Options:
You can substitute any of the chocolate chips with
1 c coconut
1 c pecans/walnuts
1 c dried cranberries
1 c Skor bits

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream margarine, sugar, vanilla and eggs. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.

Using a large spoon or ice cream scoop, drop dough on to a lined cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown.

Let cookies rest in cookie sheet for a couple of minutes before putting them on baking racks. These freeze very well.

This recipe is basically the same as the "Original Dad's Cookies" with the exception of the chips, nuts or dries cranberries. You can decide which option you would use or try something new.
