2 (10 oz) cans black beans drained -set aside 1/2 liquid - or 2 cups cooked black beans
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1 T red wine vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Saute onion and pepper. Add garlic.
2. When onion is clear and garlic beginning to brown add bean liquid little by little till ingredients are soft.
3. Add beans with remaining liquid.
4. Add spices and simmer 30 minutes.
5. Add the vinegar just before serving.
6. Serve over rice with a squeeze of lime.
