Texas Brisket Recipe

5 to 6 lb. fresh beef brisket, trimmed
1 c. Freddie Paul's BBQ sauce
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. liquid smoke
1 T. garlic powder
2 tsp. celery salt
2 tsp. lemon pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped onion
3 T. lemon juice
2 T. brown sugar
1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Remove brisket from refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature. Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl. Line a large baking pan with heavy duty foil, leaving a long enough piece of foil to fold back over the top and seal on all sides. Pour sauce on top of the foil in the pan, place brisket on top and turn it over once to coat with sauce. Seal tightly. Bake at 275 º for 5 to 7 hours (1 hr and 15 min. per lb.) Remove from oven and allow to stand for 30 minutes before slicing. Slice across the grain.
