Angel Hair pasta - about 1-1/4 bundle before cooking
2 - 3 carrots
2 green onions
3 to 4 c. finely shredded green cabbage
1/2 c. chopped fresh basil
1/2 lb. deli chicken or turkey (use fresh chicken if wish)
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. sesame oil
2 garlic gloves, minced
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. hot red chili flakes
1 lime

Directions:

Cook pasta 5 - 9 minutes. Drain in large colander and rinse under cold running water. Drain again.

Meanwhile, grate carrots and finely slice onions. In a large bowl combine with the cabbage, basil and chicken.

In a small bowl, whisk oil with garlic, sugar and chili flakes. Finely grate peel from lime and squeeze out 1 tbsp juice. Whisk into oil mixture. Place cool drained pasta on top of vegetable and chicken. Whisk dressing again and pour over pasta. Toss until evenly mixed.

Salad will keep well, covered in fridge for 1 day.

Use full amount of cabbage and less pasta. Break pasta smaller in length.
