DRY MIXTURE:

6 C. FLOUR, ALL PURPOSE
4 C. BROWN SUGAR, PACKED
2 ¾ Tsp. BAKING SODA
1 ¼ Tsp. SALT


WET MIXTURE:

3 EGGS
2 ½ C. BUTTERMILK
1 ¼ C. MARGARINE, MELTED
2 ¾ Tsp. VANILLA
4 C. APPLES, DICED


TOPPING:

1 C. BROWN SUGAR, PACKED
2/3 C. FLOUR, ALL PURPOSE
2 Tsp. CINNAMON
¼ C. BUTTER, COLD

Directions:
Put topping in food processor, until well chopped.

Combine together, add dry ingredients to wet. Stir until just combined. Portion batter into muffin tins and sprinkle with topping. Bake at 300ºF for 25 minutes. 28 minutes if large muffins.
