Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Peel and Slice 5-6 large apples
add 3/4 cup sugar
1-2 tsp cinnamon and dash nutmeg
Mix this in a bowl and add:
2 T flour or cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Mom's Pie Dough: Pie dough (tricky but you can do it. I never measure.)
3-4 cups flour (for top and bottom layers)
Cut it with a fork. 1 cup Crisco until crumbly.
Add cold water a little at a time until dough forms into a ball.
Divide it. Flour counter and shape dough into ball and roll out thin for bottom crust, put in pie tin (greased) and add apples mixture. Then roll out top crust and put on top of apples and trim around pan. Now use your fingers and pinch the edges around the pan to make a pretty edge. Poke the top with a fork for air holes and sprinkle sugar over top. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
