HOT SAUCE:
1 large can whole tomatoes
1/3 jar hot cherry or banana peppers, chopped
4 medium finely chopped onions

TORTILLAS:
3 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
tennis ball size of shortening
3/4 cup warm water

PINTO BEANS:
1/2 pound dried pinto beans
water
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 pound (2 sticks) butter

MEAT FILLING:
5 pounds ground beef
4 small or 2 large jars of pimentos
5 chopped green peppers
5 chopped onions
5 cloves garlic, pressed or finely chopped
Salt
Pepper

HOT SAUCE:
1. Put all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
2. Simmer for 3 to 4 hours in a saucepan on low heat.

TORTILLAS:
1. Mix flour, salt, baking powder together until well blended. Add water. Mix well. Add shortening.
2. Knead dough until a little tough. Divide into 12 patties.
3. Roll out patties, then fry in a cast iron skillet.

MEAT FILLING:
1. Brown all vegetables and meat in butter.
2. Add salt and pepper.
3. Cook for a couple of hours.
4. Spoon off grease.
