2 cups of flour, sifted
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), softened
3/4 cup sugar
4 tablespoons raisins
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3-4 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven - 190 degrees C / 375 degrees F.

Rub butter into flour until mixture looks like fine bread crumbs.

Add sugar, baking powder, raisins and coconut (if used) and stir in bowl.

Beat egg and vanilla in another small bowl. Pour into the previous mixture and combine. Then, add milk slowly a bit at a time and work mixture with hands until a dry dough is formed.

Divide dough into equal pieces and drop into rock shapes on a greased baking pan and bake for 15-20 minutes.
