10 pounds ground beef
3 pounds chopped onion
2 - 12 ounce cans tomato paste
1/2 cup salt
1 gallon tomato puree
1 gallon dark red kidney beans
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
1 quart tomato juice
1 quart water
1 tablespoon black pepper

1. Brown meat and onions. Skim off excessive grease. Mash meat with potato masher.

2. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer at 250 degrees for 2 hours.
