1 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
1 tsp. vinegar
1/3 c. water
2 tsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, molasses, vinegar, and water in saucepan; mix thoroughly. Cook slowly until a small amount, when dropped in cold water forms a firm ball; add butter and cook slowly until a small amount forms a hard ball. Pour into a lightly buttered shallow pan; let stand undisturbed until cool enough to handle. Butter hands lightly. Pull. Cut into inch strips with scissors.
