½ cup margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup corn syrup
3 qts popped corn, old maids removed
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In 1 ½ quart saucepan, melt margarine, stir in sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to boil, stirring constantly; then boil 5 min. without stirring. Remove from heat, stir in baking soda and vanilla. In a large bowl gradually pour hot syrup over corn, mixing well. Turn into buttered 17 x 12 x 2” pan. Bake 15 min. at 300°. Stir, bake 15 min. more. Remove from oven, let cool, stirring often. Store in an air-tight container.
