1 ¾ cup cornmeal
4 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons chopped onion
One egg, beaten
2 cups boiling water
Directions:
Directions:
Mix and sift all dry ingredients together. Add onion and beaten egg. Pour water over this mixture stirring constantly until smooth. Cook until the mixture is thick enough to shape. Cook, shape, and then fry in deep hot fat.
