Bread:
1c. Scalding milk
½ c. shortening
½ c. sugar
4 1/2 c. flour
1 t. salt
2 pkg. yeast
2 well beaten eggs
Melted butter or margarine
Topping:
1c. sugar
1 T. Cinnamon
½ c. finely chopped nuts
½ c. chopped raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Mix topping ingredients and set aside. Combine milk, shortening, and salt in a large bowl. Cool to lukewarm. Soften yeast in liquids. Add eggs and flour and mix to form soft dough. Knead and let rise until doubled. Punch down and let rest for 10 minutes. Form into small balls, slightly smaller than a golf ball. Dip each ball into melted butter and then into topping. Arrange in staggered rows in an angel food cake pan. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
