2c. flour
¼ c. Sugar
3 t. Baking soda
1 t. salt
1t. nutmeg
¼ c. oil
¾ c. milk
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add wet ingredients.Stir with fork until thoroughly mixed. Drop by teaspoonful into 375 degree oil. Fry 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Roll warm balls into a cinnamon and sugar mixture or powdered sugar. Makes about 2 ½ dozen balls.
