2-lbs of ground beef
2 large chopped onions
4 minced garlic cloves
4 T margarine
2-3 T. chili powder
2 cans whole tomatoes (diced,) save juices
2 tsp. MSG
dash salt & pepper

Fried Tortillas
Serving Ideas/ Condiments:
Grated Cheese
Chopped Green Onions
Diced Ripe Onions
Diced Fresh Tomatoes
Shredded Lettuce
Can Taco Sauce, Heated
Re-fried Beans, Heated
Parmesan Cheese
Tabasco Sauce
Sour Cream
Salsa

Directions:
Directions:
In a frying pan, put margarine, onions, garlic and saute till brown, Add beef and saute till lightly brown. Add chili powder, tomatoes & juice, seasonings. While cooking spoon off grease. Stir often. Cook till dry, but moist.

Serve on Fried Tortillas with assorted condiments.

To modernize the recipe I would sub. 2 tsp. of non MSG seasoning salt, in your favorite brand for the MSG.
