Crisco Shortening
1 cup Bisquick baking Mix
1/4 cup cold water

Directions:
Directions:
1.) Melt Crisco in saucepan or Fry Daddy. Melt enough Crisco so pan is about 1/2 full of the liquid shortening. Heat to 375º

2.) Stir baking mix and water to a soft dough.

3.) Drop one inch ball from metal spoon into hot Crisco. Cook until light golden color and turn over in hot shortening. Cook until golden brown. Remove to paper towel covered plate to drain. Cook 3-4 balls.

4.) Put balls of cooked dough in your choice of sugar mixture in brown paper sack. Shake to coat. Remove and Enjoy!

Sugar Mixture:
Cinnamon-Sugar=1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Powdered or Confectioners Sugar:
1/2 cup powdered sugar to start.
Add more to sack as needed, you can shake a second time if you want
more sugar on the Darn Good.
