1 quart of fresh oysters
1 stick of melted butter
2 quarts milk
1-5 oz can evaporated milk
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Pour oysters with their broth into a saucepan; add butter. Cook over low heat until butter is melted and oysters' edges curl. Add milk,salt and pepper. Gently heat through without boiling.
Makes 8-10 Servings

Once a month my children come on Saturday evening for Oyster Stew and then we have a good game of cards. Such an enjoyable evening.
