2 pounds lean ground beef
2 onions, chopped
1 green pepper chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 cups tomato juice (you can use V8)
2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
2 cups cooked elbow macaroni

In a stock pot cook ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking the meat up as it cook 10 minutes. Drain, and stir in the onions, green peppers and garlic. Cook 10 minutes. Stir in tomato juice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, soy sauce, Italian seasoning, pepper and salt, and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Add cooked macaroni. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

the longer this simmers the better it will taste, this is very similar to a dish I believe Nana (Ester Cook Mc Kendry Banhagle) made. I found the base for this recipe from Nell's Old Fashion Recipes.
